Las Vegas artist DXRTY drops his first track with Sweet Heat called "LOW". DXRTY's sound is influenced by his lifelong love of music, starting with his Dad’s rock CDs, evolving with hip-hop and DJing in middle school, and eventually being shaped by EDM and dubstep in high school. Since Sweet Heat's first release in 2017, their main focus has been on tech house. Shifting gears into multi-genre releases in 2023, tackling alt-hip-hop and alt-R&B, Sweet Heat is now venturing into its first bass release with DXRTY. This is the first of a handful of bass-driven EDM tracks to hit this year.

Let's get to know DJ/Producer, DXRTY --When we asked what his biggest inspirations are, he mentioned spending late nights immersed in the downtown scene, playing or partying to music that helped shape the sound for "LOW". Inspired by the energy of hot spots like Discopussy, Oddfellows, and We All Scream, DXRTY's "LOW" is a track that captures the vibe of those high-energy nights, blending a smooth UKG sound with his signature trap style. When he’s not making music, you’ll probably find DXRTY posted up at a Korean BBQ spot, putting away an unreasonable amount of food. If he’s not there, he’s either sinking shots at the pool table or glued to his Xbox, or shall we say, half playing Xbox and half getting lost in a YouTube rabbit hole and ESPN highlights. We’ve all been there.
DXRTY's dream collabs are with DJ Snake or Boombox Cartel. His all-time favorite set is DJ Snake at Ultra Miami 2017, a set that til' this day, has him unlocking some creative juices. If music wasn’t the route, he'd be grinding on Gears of War, making horror films, or back at it with street art (which inspired the track artwork for "LOW"). For DXRTY, happiness is all about doing what he loves. "LOW" is out now (March 7, 2025), so go find it on Spotify, Apple Music, or your favorite music streaming platform and be sure to turn the volume UP!
